Up to 80% of families with children know Lasten Suuri Lelukirja!

According to a survey conducted in December 2022, Lasten Suuri Lelukirja (the Children’s Great Toybook) has remained the best-known toy catalogue and it has increased its recognition since last year. The consumers remember the Toybook best by name from memory, by cover image and by name. The recognition has increased significantly measured in all three ways. Over 80 % of families with children recognizes the Toybook by cover image!

The study examined the effect of different advertising channels on children’s toy preferences and here are the most significant factors:

  1. Toy catalogues
  2. Television advertising
  3. Instore advertising

The Children’s Great Toybook is the most browsed toy catalogue. Almost 70% of the children and more than 70% of the adults who received the Toybook have browsed it. The families keep the beloved Toybook for a long time. More than 70% of the respondents keep it for a month or longer.

The study examined the recognition of nine toy catalogues published under Christmas. There were 500 respondents to the study. The study was conducted by MPS Enterprises.
